Just got a new computer need game ideas?
My old PC, I had 512MB for 6ish years P3 863 MHz RAM 40 Gig Hardrive Geforce 5500 PCI My new PC, i just got Athlon 64 3000 + Socket 754 DFI nForce3 motherboard with 6 USB ports, audio and network Radeon X800 (good card for games), 1 GB PC3200 DDR memory (one DIMM slot free) 250 GB Western Digital Hard Drive (Serial ATA) 16x DVD-RW (not + and – discs) black case with 400W power supply, what games should I really place the unit to the test.
Depends on what genre you prefer. I like shooters. Doom 3, Half-Life 2 and FEAR are excellent and should be ok on your system run albeit with somewhat reduced settings. Turn Anti-see-aliasing and how high you the decisions in front of the frame set prices fall too low. I'm running an Athlon 64 3400 + Albeit with 2GB Ram and a GeForce 7800GS and get good results.
